Highly recommended. Learning music is a journey, not a race is what Edwin told my son. My child has been with Edwin since 2018 when he was P4. Throughout this period, I have seen how Edwin develop and engage him musically. He has learnt to appreciate music and is able to play much better than before. Words of encouragement from Edwin, his vast knowledge of music and pedagogy in teaching has brought my son to a new level of learning. My son enjoys music compared to previously and more importantly, he strives to play well without me nagging at him. Sometimes to our surprise, he can even play pieces which he ‘composed ’ without any lyrics. He has also done well for his theory under Edwin’s guidance. Edwin also holds mini performances for his students. This increases their confidence level and allows them to have an experience on stage. During the pandemic, Edwin is able to transit from physical to zoom lesson seamlessly. Hence my child continues to learn without any disruptions. We are lucky to have Edwin as his music and hope my son will continue to pursue music after grade 8 in the near future.

Highly recommend, even for older people like me and my brother who are trying to pick up the piano. A very encouraging and knowledgeable teacher, Edwin adapts his lessons to cater for our likes and interests. He'll also help us learn some of the songs that we want to play.
